The love for mountain climbing contributed to the birth of BOLL GEAR s.r.o. It all started in the 80s with the desire of a young student to have at least some equipment for his expeditions to the mountains, from a windbreaker, snowsuits, to a backpack and a sleeping bag. At that time, everything was in short supply in the Czechoslovak Republic and the only way to achieve this dream was to create your own. Luděk Pravda started to sew his own climbing equipment at home and personally tested it during his expeditions to the mountains. In 1997 he founded the company BOLL, which has been producing clothing, backpacks and sleeping bags for climbers and accessories for outdoor and leisure activities ever since.
