Gladiator is a very comfortable climbing harness with maximum padding size, wide belt and leg loops, and extra reinforcement in the lumbar back area. The harness is designed for multi-pitch climbing, winter mountains, and big walls. The combination of durable materials and a proven traditional harness construction ensures long-lasting performance and reliability even under extreme use. Ideal for tackling demanding big walls, as well as hanging and long sessions on anchors.
The Gladiator harness and the GLADIATOR TOP chest gear are the result of several years of development in collaboration with top climbers, led by Spanish big wall and technical climbing specialist David „Pelut“ Palmada. During his extreme technical ascents, he tested countless prototypes and development versions. Every detail of the product was carefully verified and tested. The result is a top-class comfortable harness with many technical features and uncompromising functionality and comfort.
- 2 main belay loops, each in a different color, for clear attachment, especially during demanding technical climbs
- 7 durable gear loops allow carrying a large amount of climbing gear and organizing it clearly during the ascent. The loops are reinforced and purposefully shaped for quick and comfortable handling of climbing equipment.
- 2 carry-tool slots for attaching the ROCK EMPIRE HELPER gear carrier on the sides of the harness.
- 2 pairs of mini loops for attaching cordage and flexible attachment of additional equipment (e.g., hammer). The cord is included in the package.
- Rear additional “haul loop” for pulling material ropes.
- 4 aluminum buckles for quick and easy adjustment of the ideal harness size at the waist and legs – adaptable even with different clothing and climbing in varying temperatures during the day.
- Generous padding and anatomical harness design for comfort during climbing, hanging, or long sessions on anchors.
- Excellent comfort-to-weight ratio of the harness.
