Product detailed description
HEXARING is a low-friction aluminum ring designed for tree climbing lowering of cut parts of trees. Unlike traditional metal rings adapted from the maritime industry, HEXARING was designed from the ground up specifically for arborist use – with an emphasis on compatibility, rope-friendliness, and ease of use in the field.
Its internal profile, rope guiding diameter, and natural friction resistance ensure smooth rope passage and stable load descent control. HEXARING is available in three sizes (M, L, XL) depending on the maximum diameter of the rope used – up to 20 mm. It is especially suitable for use with soft textile slings (single eye, chainette, whoopie) or in combination with the HANDS UP system.
Thanks to the optimized bend radius, rope wear is minimized and long gear life is ensured. The circular shape also provides even load distribution when loaded from various directions. Given its dimensions and weight, HEXARING is an ideal tool for height specialists looking for a compact and lightweight, yet strong and reliable connection element.
This product is not intended as PPE and may only be used by persons experienced in lowering operations.
