Product detailed description
ABSORBICA-I VARIO is an adjustable single lanyard with an integrated energy absorber, supplied without connectors, designed for progression along horizontal lifelines (textile or steel cable) or on elevated platforms without passing intermediate anchor points. It is suitable for users weighing between 50 and 140 kg. It features the VARIO adjustment system, allowing the lanyard length to be adjusted to reduce potential fall distance. Depending on the connectors used, ABSORBICA-I VARIO is certified according to American, European and Russian standards.
- Designed for progression along horizontal lifelines (textile or steel cable) or on elevated platforms without intermediate anchor points.
- The VARIO adjustment system allows the lanyard length to be adjusted from 100 to 150 cm to reduce fall distance.
Absorbs impact energy in the event of a fall:
- Progressive tearing of the absorber webbing reduces the impact force on the user.
- Suitable for users weighing from 50 to 140 kg (1).
- Progressive tearing reduces abrupt deceleration for lighter users.
Minimal bulk:
- Compact absorber for easier handling.
- Durable fabric pouch with openings at both ends protects the absorber from abrasion and dirt and allows regular inspection.
Two harness connection options depending on use:
- Frequent clipping/unclipping: connector held in position with STRING protector (included).
- Semi-permanent detachable connection: RING OPEN connector ensures optimal positioning.
- End connector options: automatic locking connector or large-gate MGO OPEN connector.
