Product detailed description
ABSORBICA-Y TIE-BACK is a double lanyard with an integrated energy absorber and two tie-back loops. It is designed for vertical progression on structures with large beams and for movement along lifelines with intermediate anchor points. Suitable for users weighing between 60 and 140 kg including equipment. The TIE-BACK system allows the lanyard ends to be wrapped back onto themselves to fit around large structural elements. Elastic arms prevent hindrance during progression.
Absorbs impact energy in the event of a fall:
Progressive tearing of the webbing absorbs fall energy and reduces the impact force on the user. Suitable for users weighing from 60 to 140 kg including equipment (1).
Designed for use with maximum length (including connectors):
- 200 cm according to CE EN 355
- 183 cm (6 ft) according to ANSI Z359.13
Minimal bulk:
- Very compact absorber design does not restrict the user
- Elastic arms reduce snagging during progression
- Durable fabric pouch with simple opening system protects the absorber from abrasion and dirt and allows regular inspection
Two harness connection options depending on use:
- Frequent clipping/unclipping: with a connector held in position by the STRING protector (included) or using a MICRO SWIVEL to prevent tangling
- Semi-permanent connection: using a RING OPEN connector or SWIVEL OPEN to prevent tangling

Certification: CE EN 355 (meets RFU PPE-R/11.074), ANSI Z359.13 (12 ft FF), CSA Z259.11-17, compliant with Japanese fall protection standard, GB/T 24538 type II. Certification depends on connectors used.
Maximum permitted length including connectors: 200 cm under CE EN 355, GB/T 24538 type II and Japanese standard; 183 cm (6 ft) under ANSI Z359.13 and CSA Z259.11-17.
