Product detailed description
The VOLT WIND full-body work harness is designed for fall arrest and work positioning, specifically for wind turbine operations. It is easy to put on thanks to FAST LT PLUS automatic buckles, which allow donning the harness with feet on the ground. The wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide excellent support. Its lightweight and breathable construction maximizes airflow. The rear waistbelt and dorsal attachment area feature plastic protection against abrasion and damage when moving inside wind turbine towers. The harness is certified to both U.S. and European standards.
Quick and easy donning:
The waistbelt is equipped with a FAST LT PLUS automatic buckle for rapid opening and closing without losing size adjustment, even when wearing gloves. FAST LT PLUS buckles on the leg loops allow the harness to be put on easily with both feet on the ground while retaining adjustment. DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the waistbelt and shoulder straps allow precise fitting. Leg loop padding can be repositioned for optimal placement.
Comfort throughout the working day:
- Plastic protectors on the rear waistbelt and dorsal attachment point protect webbing from abrasion and ensure comfort when moving inside the turbine tower
- Wide semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide excellent support, and the lightweight breathable design maximizes ventilation
- Padded shoulder straps are widely spaced to prevent neck chafing under load and help distribute weight across the shoulders
- Side slots allow installation of a work seat for greater comfort during long suspensions
Easy to use:
The side attachment points can be folded away to prevent accidental snagging. MGO connector holders for the energy-absorbing lanyard are positioned on each shoulder strap; in the event of a fall, the connectors release automatically to allow absorber deployment. Gear loops, CARITOOL slots, and TOOLBAG pouch compatibility allow efficient organization of equipment.
