Product detailed description
The flexible PROTEC PLUS protector, thanks to its aramid construction, is designed to protect suspended ropes from highly abrasive surfaces or heat during work at height or rescue operations. It is easy to install and highly versatile. PROTEC PLUS fits most rope diameters used by professionals as well as anchor slings.
Flexible rope protector made of aramid for increased strength and durability:
- Three times more abrasion resistant than the standard PROTEC protector
- Twice as resistant to sharp edges as the standard PROTEC protector
- Protects the rope during short exposure to heat sources such as hot pipes (1)
- Protects the rope in case of accidental exposure to flames (2)
Easy installation:
Opening and closing is easy thanks to magnets that can be handled while wearing gloves The clip offers a good grip, allowing quick and simple placement on the rope
Versatility:
- Can be used in both directions, with the clip facing up or down
- Suitable for various rope diameters used by professionals
- Can also be used to protect anchor slings such as CONNEXION
(1) Maximum 5 minutes at 200 °C.
(2) Maximum 10 seconds at 650 °C.
