Product detailed description
The ASTRO full-body harness is designed for rope access workers at height. Its construction is specific for rope ascents and work from a rope. 3D foam padding and semi-rigid waist and leg loops provide comfort during suspension throughout the workday. The detachable front attachment point allows efficient installation of necessary equipment for rope movement. The integrated CROLL L rope clamp improves efficiency during rope ascents. The belt is equipped with metal side attachment points, gear loops, and slots for material carriers, allowing organization and carrying of all necessary equipment throughout the day. DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and FAST buckles make donning and adjusting the harness easy and quick, even when wearing gloves.
Ultra comfortable design:
Widely spaced shoulder straps reduce neck chafing. Thin sliding straps provide greater freedom and ease of movement. All contact zones, including shoulder straps, waist belt, and leg loops, are padded with 3D foam and lined with breathable material, providing greater comfort in suspension. The semi-rigid belt and leg loops ensure optimal fit and support during suspension. Metal side attachment points can be folded to prevent accidental snagging when not in use. Elastic connecting straps on the leg loops and waist (replaceable and available as accessories) allow the harness to maintain proper adjustment while walking or suspended. Aluminum ring on the back of the belt for chest harness attachment.
Efficient gear integration into the detachable front attachment point:
The PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE connector can be attached directly to the attachment point pin without using a carabiner. The CROLL L chest rope clamp is attached directly to the front attachment point for greater efficiency and freedom of movement during rope ascents. The PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat can be attached directly to the attachment point pin, so the load goes directly to the belay device, giving the user great freedom of movement at the attachment point.
Convenient adjustment system:
- The shoulder straps feature a FAST quick-release buckle on the left for easy donning and removal and a DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle on the right for easy adjustment that does not loosen
- The belt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK PLUS self-locking buckles and can accommodate anti-slip clips (included but not installed)
- DOUBLEBACK PLUS buckles are made of anodized aluminum, and handling them is easy throughout the harness’s lifespan
- Leg loops have FAST quick-release buckles that fasten and unfasten easily and quickly, even with gloves
Easy attachment and gear organization:
- The shoulder straps have a Velcro strap that can be moved up or down and placed on the left or right side to attach the ASAP'SORBER fall arrest device
- Mounts for connecting the fall arrest lanyard (available as accessory) can be installed on the shoulder straps
- The waist belt has two foldable side attachment points for connecting the positioning lanyard in double mode
- Seven shaped gear loops with protective coating, two slots for CARITOOL material carriers and INTERFAST connection system, and two loops for TOOLBAG tool pouches
