Product detailed description
The AVAO BOD is a full-body work harness designed for fall arrest, work positioning, and suspended work. The wide, semi-rigid waist belt and leg loops provide excellent support. Its lightweight and breathable construction maximizes airflow. Shoulder straps feature holders for fall-arrester connectors to keep them within reach. DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the harness straps at the back allow the leg loops to be shortened from the waist when using the rear attachment point. The harness is equipped with numerous attachment points for gear and tools, gear loops, CARITOOL carrier slots, and TOOLBAG pouch loops. The rear attachment point includes an integrated fall indicator and is secured with a TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking carabiner. Certified to North American and European standards. The AVAO BOD has leg loops equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles.
All-day comfort:
Wide, semi-rigid waist belt and leg loops provide excellent support. Lightweight and breathable construction maximizes airflow. Padded shoulder straps are widely cut to reduce neck chafing. When the belt is loaded with gear, the weight is distributed to the shoulder straps.
Comfortable adjustment:
- Waist belt and shoulder straps with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles for quick and easy adjustment
- MGO connector holders on each shoulder strap allow stowing connectors so lanyard loops do not obstruct work and remain within reach
- In case of a fall, the system releases MGO connectors and activates the fall arrester
- Side attachment points can be folded to prevent accidental snagging when not in use
- DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the rear straps allow shortening the distance between the waist and leg loops when using the rear attachment point. In a fall, this setting ensures better load distribution to the leg loops, keeping the user more comfortably suspended while waiting for rescue

Attachment points:
- Front attachment point: for connecting a descender or a lanyard for single-mode work positioning
- Side attachment points: for connecting lanyards for double-mode work positioning
- Chest attachment point: for connecting a fall arrest system
- Rear attachment point: for connecting a fall arrest system
- Rear attachment point on waist belt: for connecting a restraint system
- International version has a fall indicator: a red tab appears on the rear attachment point after a fall, indicating the harness should be retired
