Carabiner specially designed for connecting the sit and chest parts of a full body harness, and primarily for creating the ASC LINK chest ascender and carabiner assembly.
- geometry designed for linking the chest and sit sections of full body harnesses
- the carabiner can be used with the ASC LINK chest ascender or independently
- a plastic cover can be mounted on the carabiner instead of the ascender (included)
- both the ascender and the cover keep the chest harness strap in the correct position
- triple-lock gate ensures increased safety
- coarse knurling allows better handling even while wearing gloves
- angled Keylock prevents unwanted snagging of the nose on harness webbing
- the body of the carabiner has very high strength
- each carabiner is individually tested during production with a 10 kN load
- patented solution for connecting the chest ascender and carabiner
- unique production number for easier tracking and periodic inspection
